I love teaching because I love teenagers and I believe they need caring adults to mentor them.  I have been teaching science for 12 years and Physics for the last 8 years.  I have been married for 27 years and have 3 grown children and one grandbaby.  I graduated from Emory Univ in 1984 with a BS in Biology and did graduate research at UGA before becoming a mother.  I studied Science Education also at UGA after staying home with my children when they were small.  I am an avid cyclist and gardener.
